Fused blues to country mixed white and black
Time to ride fame in a pink Cadillac
When mono rocked the shocked uptight

Cold war snags your peace of mind
From H bomb horns a howl is born
Boom baby boom light desert night
Atoms split split split break free ignite
On the road to darkness there is no respite

With the dark skies full of UFOs
See twilight zones in cars not rows
watch aliens breed and lead attack
Their death ray beams make clean contact
To teens who fear the bomb and that impact

With two-tone strap jet black dial
Watch of the future born in style
Press launched before it's working right
The jukebox wristwatch maiden flight
Can't capture Sputniks' mighty blazing light

The waist down King's fit to view
Sideburns gone for GI blues
Careers dead end get killed outright
Chuck Berry's held back-racists indict
the Killer's lost to lusts' cruel appetite

The rising smoke from Holly's plane
It drifts across and drops as pain
The role that's played by those that rock
In search of boundaries' power to shock
Outlives their age and breaks time's paradox
